Seniors who are interested in attending the Financial Aid Day at Truman on November 1 please
visit the Guidance website and sign up on the Form provided ASAP.
November 1st in the evening will be our Parent Financial Aid Night, please take the flyer home to your parent/guardian.
This is for ALL Seniors attending college to learn more about the Financial Aid process. All Seniors please check your school email DAILY for important information such as scholarships, college visits, and any Senior related news.
All Seniors who are planning to attend college please hand in your Student Profile and Transcript Release Form ASAP to your counselor you can find a copy in your student email.
Student drivers are not permitted to use the rear access road near the stadium before or after the school day. Driving privileges will be revoked, as per the driving agreement you signed. No exceptions!
After School Detention will be held today, from 2:30 - 4:30 in Room # B -7
Please make sure that you bring your school work with you.
Attention students traveling to the Galapagos Islands: There will be a brief meeting on Thursday, October 26th during Homeroom in room B-2. Please see Mr. Miller or Miss Bellerby if you are unable to attend.

V.O.I.C.E. Invites you to an evening of Expressing yourself And your culture through poetry and spoken word on Thursday Oct 26 6:30-8:30 PM in the library here at Truman High School
Please bring your own poetry or the work of someone you respect. Please remember that this is a school event and poetry must be appropriate for a school audience. For more information please contact Ms. Bodnar
Truman SADD will be meeting Monday after school. We willl have our meeting in C-9 this week to accommodate our speaker. Please make every effort to attend. Refreshments will be served.
Sports News
Now that fall sports are over, come out to girls basketball workouts Monday thru Thursday from 6-8pm and work on preseason conditioning, basic skills and drills before tryouts! There’s only 3 1/2 weeks left until tryouts. This is for those of you who are rusty and those who want to try it out BEFORE tryouts.

Winter workouts for softball will start November 6th. They will be from 2:30-5 every Monday and Wednesday till further notice. Please be prepared.
Softball practice is cancelled this week please look for announcement about next week’s practice.
