This year's Winter Ball has been cancelled due to low numbers.  If you purchased a ticket for the Winter Ball, please see Mrs. Thayres in the Athletic Office for a refund

 

Attention students going to Washington, DC with Señora Gregory...please plan to bring spending money for meals and your gift shop purchases. Do not bring a large backpack. Check in with your 1st period teacher on Tuesday morning then come to the lobby for our departure. School dress code will still apply.

 

Congratulations to the students who achieved straight A’s for the first marking period! Truman High School would like to honor all of the students who have attained this distinction of academic excellence. You are invited to a breakfast reception in the library, in your honor, on Tuesday, December 10th during first period. Please come to the library at 7:30 AM. Your invitation will be distributed to your first period teacher on Monday.

"Glass Club, a meeting place and safe space for LGBTQ and straight students, will begin meeting every other Tuesday after school beginning January 7th. See Ms. L in C3-B or Mr. Drazek in A-10 for an application or details. The deadline for applications to the GLASS Club will be next Friday, December 13th."

How do you get an Athletic Scholarship?  What does it take to be a college athlete today?  When does the recruiting process start? Do smaller colleges have money for athletes?

 Learn the answers to ALL these questions and more on Tuesday December 10th at 7:30 pm in the Auditorium when our school hosts the “Student-Athlete & College Recruiting Seminar”. 

This FREE seminar is a MUST for ALL athletes in grades 8-12 who want to play sports in college, and their parents.
